| Job Description: |
The Lead Equipment Engineer oversees Site Construction for the
installation of the Mechanical and Electrical equipment; Interfaces
with procurement to provide schedule requirements for equipment
delivery; Liaison/coordinates with procurement entity for equipment
inspections and expediting; Compiles technical manuals for all major
equipment and provides technical and vendor information for the
installation of equipment; Monitors the installation to ensure
compliance with any special vendor requirements during the
installation of the equipment and that quality objectives are met;
Liaison/coordinates with QA relating to QA records and reconciliation
if needed; Responds to critical needs with reliability and timeliness;
Coordinates with vendors and suppliers for technical representation
requirements during installation and testing of equipment. |
Skills Required:: |
Engineering degree or equivalent experience required; 15-20 years
experience. Has demonstrated and proven track record in self
performed constructions/equipment installation work in Nuclear
Power Plants |
