The HazMat Supervisor`s primary responsibility will be to head up all field operations of our Haz-Waste section.
To do this, the qualified candidate must be able to plan how the projects will be completed, ensure proper inventory i.e. supplies, PPE to complete the project, lead and direct other workers, and complete any reporting.
Qualified candidates must be familiar with the UHWM. Experience in handling hazardous materials is a must; experience in packaging/shipping hazardous waste is a plus, but not a requirement. Candidate must be ready to start off at a face pace - there is already work in place and more in the making that call for this position.
Other responsibilities may include but not limited to the following: Assisting in other projects - not as a supervisor; researching for and bidding on appropriate contracts; supporting other co-workers in various tasks. |
Skills Required:: |
40-hour Hazwoper
Cdl class C (not required prior to employment, but will be needed)
Windows, Microsoft Office, Reporting,
Any other technical/skilled training will be beneficial |
