| Job Description: |
Preferred technical skills and experience in the many of the fields listed below:
•Experience in automotive embedded software development as per a structured process
•Familiarity and experience in working to a structured software development process
•Knowledge and experience in use of C language in Embedded field
•Working level exposure to 16 / 32 bit micro-controllers from Infineon / Motorola / Fujitsu / STMicro
•Familiar with / worked using automotive communication and diagnostic protocols
•Working level knowledge on CAN, tools like CANalyser, CAPL etc.
•Knowledge and experience in use of software development tools
•OSEK experience.
•Compiler – Tasking / Diab / Softune – practical experience
•Practical experience in handling debuggers like JTAG / Accemic / Lauterbach
•Regular usage of configuration tools like MKS, ClearCase etc.
•Experience with testing tools like Tessy
•Lint, QAC & MISRA rule checking / resolution capability
Team Leader – Role Description
- Lead a team of 6 to 12 Engineers – technical as well as Project management
- Work estimation based on past data and experience
- Project planning - firming up the schedule for identified tasks using MS Project – average 4 to 6 work statements are maintained at any point of time
- Tracking effort and schedule of project/module/task
- Reporting and presentation in reviews – weekly / monthly reviews / reports
- Technical Inspections – Design, Code, Unit test etc
- Ensuring adherence to software development process and SPICE norms
- Effective interaction with overseas customer
- Support Engineers in producing good quality and timely output
- Post project analysis, release review before work statement closure etc
- Improving team efficiency and productivity (Improvement tracking list, organizing KT sessions, organizing meetings with overseas customer, internal meetings, equipment usage and maintenance, equipment operational status and follow up, performance appraisal, firm commitment, interview, department presentation and report support etc.)
Desired Profiles :
•BE / B.Tech (ECE /EEE/ E&I) with good and consistent academics
•7 - 10 years of relevant experience in the Embedded Automotive Domain – in established and process oriented companies
•Good knowledge and strong commitment to follow process
•Project management skills and experience
•Has Lead a Team of 8 - 10 Engineers
•Record in terms of low Job changeover. |
