Our client is seeking a highly motivated Events Director for a full-time position based in London.
As the Events Director you will be responsible for overseeing planning, operations and delivery of a variety of small events as well as test events building towards major events planned for 2011 and 2012.
Your role will see you lead a team of Event Managers and Coordinators to ensure planning of all areas of events is carried out including venue planning, accreditation etc and all areas are functional and ready by set deadlines.
You will also ensure tests are carried out and work closely with other teams and sections to deliver success.
Other duties include being on site and having a team ready to react to any incidents or issues during the events. You will also be required to keep Senior Management updated as to progress and any problems that may be encountered.
To apply for the role you will have a minimum of 10 years experience within Events, with 5+ years in a Management capacity. A proven ability to lead, work to deadlines and under pressure is essential. Sports Events experience is also preferred.
In return you will receive a salary between £90,000 – £120,000 per annum
