| Job Description: |
Candidate shall be capable of performing the following duties and responsibilities:
preparing a claim against our subcontractor with respect to caused delays and material defects
correcting the risk of customer`s penalty claims against Siemens
reviewing the subcontract to analyse the strenghts and weaknesses of client`s position in this issue
preparing and drafting a strong claim which could be used in arbitration
preparing an internal report identifying the strenghts and weaknesses of the claim including a recommendation regarding the management of the dispute
In general the candidate should be able and experienced in performing the following tasks:
Identifying opportunities for outgoing claims, development of claim strategies, supporting/ preparing notifications/correspondence and claims as well as negotiation and settlement
internal correspondence, support and advice with regard to contractual matters to Project Management, Technical Back Offices, Supply and Procurement and Legal Services
external correspondence with regard to contractual matters with Clients, Consortial Partners, Consultants, Suppliers and Subcontractors, Lawyers/ -Firms
Analysis of incoming claims and identifying opportunities for outgoing claims
Development of claim and defence strategies, supporting/ preparing response/correspondence/notifications, claim negotiation and settlement
Documentary analysis of Contracts as well as preparing, convening and conducting presentation of the analysis via Contract Workshops
Providing Support in Arbitration and other Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures
