| Job Description: |
Under the supervision of the Material Manager is responsible for all indoor
storage of material and equipment including heated, unheated and humidity
controlled facilities.
• In this role is responsible for receipt inspection process as well as the
issuance of material for indoor stored material and equipment and for insuring
the physical control, storage and distribution of materials and equipment
within the assigned warehouses.
• This includes the implementation of a storage locator scheme to facilitate the
ease of location and retrieval of stored materials.
• Also, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the control of all equipment
spare parts and their turnover to owner personnel.
• In addition, coordinates with the Material Controller for input of storage
locations for received materials being placed into indoor storage and for the
recording of material issues from the warehouse into Marian.
• Also, insures the proper storage, maintenance and record keeping pertaining
to hazardous materials and material with a shelf life.
• The Warehouse Supervisor also conducts periodic physical inventories to
compare against inventory records to identify material shrinkage.
