| Job Description: |
The Manager/Director of Quality and Testing is responsible for providing leadership for Teams that results in the development and execution of clear, measurable quality criteria and test plans our Clients applications. In this role your will have overall accountability for the quality of Clients software products including functionality, integration / interoperability and performance, with a focus on continuous process improvement. Your role will be to lead QA Labs associates on short and long term client engagements. This position will also be responsible for developing and reporting on software quality measures in order to determine software deployment readiness. You will partner with account teams, development and project managers to:
Direct activities of QA Labs teams ensuring consistent practices and software
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and developing intellectual property
Set overall QA direction and establish and implement best practices for quality assurance processes; develop and utilize benchmark-based metrics, and develop & maintain reporting on these measures to ensure continuous improvement and provide needed information to clients
Train and mentor and motivate associates
Collaborate with account teams to plan resources
Manage quality and testing projects
Manage expenses within financial budgets to include identification and implementation of cost reduction methods
Implement testing environment and utilize tools
Manage the defect tracking process in order to ensure identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects
Work with the test execution analyst to plan, report and execute the test plan
Manage tests in complex multi-test environment
Communicate progress and report to Test Manager during each test report to ensure the capabilities are tested and validated
Follow the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach
Migrate bug fixes into the test environment and test it in a timely manner

Skills Required:: |
Requirements:
8 - 10+ years industry experience in an IT quality/testing role
Four or more years in a consulting leadership role
Hands on expertise with development of test management processes and strategies
Hands on experience developing and delivering testing in these areas
