Calling all Secondary Teachers who are keen take their careers to beautiful New Zealand in January 2010! Located in South Auckland this Secondary School caters for students in Years 9-15 (ages 13-19). This is a new multicultural, co-educational school in Manukau City with a current enrolment of 1144. The school is only 5 years old and has stunning facilities for learning and teaching.
The successful applicant will need to be a dedicated professional who is in tune with 21st Century Learning. The school has structured the day differently to most schools by having 3 X 100minute periods per day. The teacher will have strengths in developing lessons which are engaging, interactive and interesting for the learners. The ability to scaffold lessons and apply differentiation will be paramount in meeting the needs of this exciting and vibrant learning community.
