We are looking for an experienced Analyst/Programmer – Base24 professional to join team of our banking industry client in Sydney, Australia. Sponsorship will be provided for a good candidate.
System Description:
** Payments, Service Delivery Applications area develops, maintains and supports the WBC ATM and EFTPOS network and associated applications:
** Wbc Atm/eftpos online, batch, IBM Host and Tandem front end applications
** Wbc Atm/eftpos Interchanges (such as CBA, ANZ, NAB, MasterCard, Visa)
** Customer Select PIN System

Job Profile/Skill Sets:
Opportunity exists for experienced and self motivated Analyst Programmers to join the Point of Sale / ATM Front-end Tandem Base24 development team to work on a number of project initiatives and support tasks.
These roles will encompass the following activities at various stages of the project life cycle:
• Prepare PCAR, DDR, Test plans, Implementation plans and other SELC deliverables for projects
• Develop and unit test programs using consistent development methodologies and standards based on program specifications to agreed schedules and high quality.
• Work closely with the business team to analyse business requirements, organise design reviews, test execution and support.
• Responsible for lodgement of code in test and production environments on Tandem machine
• Participate in various test and implementation phase activities
Essential skills / competencies for the job:
- Experience in Base24 Release 6.0 ATM and PoS applications.
- Good working knowledge of security key management for ATM and EFTPoS system.
- Good knowledge of EFTPoS and ATM transactions and functions
- Good knowledge of Australian Standards related to EFTPoS and ATM transaction processing.
- Good knowledge of MasterCard and Visa scheme requirements.
- Good knowledge of ATM and EFTPoS device features and functions.
- Strong analysis, design, specification and coding skills
- Experienced in using Tandem RMS system.
- TAL programming language
- Proficient in using Tandem debugging tool.
- Proficient in Tandem/Base24 environment configuration set-up.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication.
- Team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Work well under pressure and can multi-task.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
Desirable
- Understanding of cards products
