We are looking for a full-time Junior Web Project Manager.
We are seeking a talented Jr Web Project Manager to assist our web developers with delivering client websites on time, under budget and meeting client expectations.
The position will entail web and business application software development, web design, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, software maintenance and testing. Setting up of quotes and project management will be part of the position. The role will require to interface with the members of the team, external partners and also directly with the clients.
Also will do sales and marketing activities to promote services local and international, e.g. web, networking etc.
Reporting to the Director, the incumbent designs, produces and maintains various internal and client websites, works on the main Intergate sites, and contributes to the overall Web Communications strategy and special projects.
You must be able to work from our offices in Cape Town.
Key tasks:
• Providing guidance and advice on the key creative elements of web projects – notably design, branding, information architecture, usability and marketing.
• Generation of written briefs, scopes, costings and specifications to enable the accurate and timely implementation of client -work by production teams.
• Liaison with relevant production team members during projects to ensure that each remains on course.
• The generation of accurate, profitable written costings for clients working as appropriate on the advice of relevant production managers.
• Effective liaison and communication with Client services directors.
• The generation of project critical path documents for clients.
• Day to day communication with clients to ensure that all materials for project delivery are available in a timely fashion and that the client is appraised of any issues concerning the project at hand, specifically: changing timelines, spec creep requiring budgetary alterations, internal issues affecting client work.
• The generation of all relevant commercial documentation related to client projects.
Salary
120.000 ZAR per annum + 7,5 % commission on generated revenue on projects (monthly basis)

Skills Required:: |
Experience/Skills:
• Management of a small team
• Management of external contractors
• Website management and development, including web writing, editing and testing
• Experience using/developing CMSs ideally Joomla
• Experience in Internet Marketing and SEO
• Writing skills. In particular documentation, technical specifications, requirements and call for tenders
• Use of PHP, HTML, MySQL, and CSS
• Knowledge of Data Migration
• Good understanding of the principles of project management and project management methodologies.
• Proficient in English
• Strong commercial awareness with consideration of the bottom line
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• In depth knowledge and interest in the web and digital marketing
• Good man manager and team leader. Ability and interest in mentoring and growing your team.
• Proactive and self-starting with the ability to take control of projects independently from day one.
• Structured and organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines, whilst under pressure from conflicting client and internal needs.
• Ability to work effectively across a range of client projects simultaneously. Ability to plan time efficiently and manage resource across the projects at hand.
• Flexible attitude with the willingness and ability to `cover the gaps` in client management in times of resource scarcity.
• Ability to identify and resolve client and project issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Useful skills to have: Wireframing, Design, Copywriting, Usability, Accessibility, Technical knowledge (HTML, Photoshop, Flash et al),
