Work Summary
The candidate filling this Business System Analyst - Lead position will
work on requirements analysis, creation of required development and testing
artifacts, development and execution of unit and D2D test cases,
coordination of application builds to software testing and analysis and
auctioning of PNs reported by software testing.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
. Business and systems requirements analysis
. Creation of use cases, functional requirements, technical
specifications, and user interface specifications
. Development and execution of unit test cases
. Development and execution of D2D test cases
. Review and approval of functional test plans and test cases created by the Software Testing team
. Analysis and assignment of PNs
. Coordination of application builds
. Strong written and oral communications skills |
Skills Required:: |
Experience
At least 5 years of experience with business and systems analysis,
specifically related to web-based Java applications running on UNIX/Linux
with Oracle, creation of functional and technical specifications, and following an industry standard SDLC process. Candidate must have the ability to work closely with a team of Java developers, create and execute development test cases, analyze and assign PNs, and coordinate application builds. The ideal candidate will have experience with web-based Java applications, modeling tools such as Sybase PowerDesigner, and tracking tools such as Dimensions and Silk Central.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
. 5 years of business and system analysis
. 5 years functional and technical specifications documentation writing
. 3 years web-based Java applications experience required
. Experience using Power Designer, Dimensions, SilkCentral
Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients and
technical staff.
