IBM Storage/AIX System Administrator
IBM Storage/AIX System Administrator for our UAE operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
1 IBM pseries server administration
2. Experience in Systems P LPAR and Hardware Management Console (HMC)
management
3. AIX installation and configuration
4. AIX Logical Volume manager (LVM) management
5. AIX and Linux User management
6. Working Experience on IBM HACMP and TSM
7. Working Experience on high-end IBM pseries servers such as P595 and P570
8. Tivoli Storage Manager and Tivoli Monitoring client installation and configuration on
AIX, Linux and Solaris platform
9. Working Experience on IBM Storage management including DS8000 and SVC
10. Experience on Storage DR Replication and Flashcopy management
11. Experience on Storage SAN host attachment for AIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows
server
12. Web server server management (Apache and its compatible)
13. Troubleshooting of problems and issues related to OS on AIX, Solaris and Linux
14. OS hardening on AIX, Solaris and Linux servers based on Compliance checks
15. 24x7 Support for production AIX, Solaris and Linux based servers
16. Healthcheck, performance monitoring and capacity Planning of all UNIX servers
17. Documentation of procedures and other required for Auditing.
1 IBM Websphere administration and troubleshooting
2. Windows server administration and troubleshooting
Experience Required: 4 to 5 year.
