Position Summary
The successful candidate will work with a dynamic group of people within the radio development team. Members within this group focus on the development of the call processing software for the 2G/3G standardized radio networks. The position involves low level development, testing, and integration of the software within a multi-cored embedded processor environment.

Qualifications
Essential Skills And Qualifications
• 5+ years of full time, non-co-op experience within software development
• Extensive C, C++ programming experience required
• Hands on experience with network simulation tools and equipment e.G. Anite, Rhodes + Schwartz, Agilent,
• Familiar with use of debugging tools such as JTAG real-time tracing and logic analyzers
• Development experience within the 2G/3G suite of protocols (e.G. GSM/GPRS/EDGE, WCDMA/Hspa)
• Experience developing and debugging call processing procedures
• Experience analyzing mobile device and network side field logs using log capture and post processing tools
• Strong knowledge of Rtos
Additional Assets
• Knowledge of WiFi, GPS, and BT technologies
• Assembly language programming experience (ARM, Intel or other)
• RTOS device driver development expertise in embedded software environment cross compiler and related tools knowledge
• Experience with GCF testing for mobile devices will be a valuable asset
• Good verbal and writing communication
• Independent work ethic to bring tasks to completion
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
