Job Description:
Production Support for batch and online processing for the Commercial Cards and the Global Information Warehouse applications at Citi. Responsibilities would include investigation and remediation of Production problems, analyzing the results of processing. Track and monitor batch and online events providing 24/7 processing support coverage for these enterprise level applications. Work with the development community and downstream systems to support User Acceptance testing initiatives.
Opportunity:
The Global Information Warehouse and Commercial Cards Reporting platforms are high input / output volume applications. They process transactional data for customers around the world for reporting purposes. The selected candidates will work with regional data centers around the world along with local and regional application development staff to ensure seamless processing events. The opportunity to learn Data Warehousing, ETL processing, application scripting, large system data management with flows of financial information into and out of the bank.
Technical Skills:
JAVA, PERL, UNIX Shell Scripting, Ab Initio, Oracle, distributed DB2 & MicroStrategy,
MS Office Products, Excel, Office, Word.
Ability to work with GUI products and follow data flows through application infrastructure.
Non-technical skills:
Good English language skills, both written and oral.
Good Organizational Skills.
Have a basic understanding of Finance.
