| Job Description: |
AD Engineering Co., headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and engaged in providing Architectural Design, Project Management, Urban Planning, Supervision, Value Engineering, Training and Workshops and Arbitration services, is seeking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers.
Responsibilities :
- Make design decisions and recommendations co-ordinating with the project requirements.
- Design of mechanical drawings - HVAC, Fire Fighting & Plumbing - from concept design through working drawing, including effective air distribution system, Chilled Water Networks, Refrigerant Piping Layout, Fire fighting networks, Water Supply Distribution System, Sewerage/drainage networks, Irrigation networks, Swimming pool systems, spa, fountains and water falls, Gas Networks etc
- Advise Architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimize the environmental impact.
- Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Design according to local utilities rules, regulations and design guides.
- Preparation of construction documents for MEP systems, including calculations, drawings, specifications.
- Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers and Electrical Engineers and other external design consultants.
- Review, approve and process all mechanical technical submittals, Contractor’s shop drawings in compliance Project specification and National and International standards.
- Participate in value engineering sessions for providing creative ideas, project scope and cost
- Supervision of installation of building systems and specify maintenance and operating procedures.
- Ensure the design and maintenance of building systems that meet health and safety requirement

Skills Required:: |
Skill requirements :
- Must have 10 years experience in designing HVAC System, Fire Fighting system, plumbing, drainage, sewerage, irrigation systems etc. for high rise commercial/ residential buildings (25+ floors), schools with facilities, preferably with Gulf experience
- Must be able to design and generate complete set of designed drawings (Deliverables) as per International Codes of Practice.
- Must be able to prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) & specifications.
- Must be able to provide technical review comments on the client’s designed drawings.
- Must be able to provide value engineering study on the clients designed drawings.
- Must be able to work on cooling load calculation programs (Block load, hourly analysis program etc)
- Working knowledge in energy efficiency, energy management plans, water usage planning, storm water management, site and landscape strategies, indoor environmental quality, and related green building and sustainable design topics.
- Must be detail-oriented with ability to multi-task on several projects and interact with multi-discipline teams
