A well respected, large Korean Subcontractor responsible for the civil work for the Angola LNG Tank Construction Project are constructing large scale concrete LNG tanks in Soyo, Angola and require an experienced HSE Manager.
This is a senior management position in construction and a highly demanding role. It offers a unique opportunity for a successful, experienced and talented Safety Manager who seeks to develop his career towards corporate (and possibly conglomerate) level.
Requirements:
• At least fifteen years in Construction Safety Management.
• Hold recognizable and current and suitable Safety Management Qualifications.
• Should be a fluent English speaker and have extensive reporting experience.
• Previous Oil and Gas experience is desirable but not essential.
• Previous successful experience with multi-ethnic, multi cultural workforces is essential.
• Suitable site management and man management skills are a prerequisite.
• Additional Health and Welfare and Environment experience may prove beneficial.
You will have the necessary industry and safety knowledge. This will include the experience and competence to inspire team behaviour, safe attitudes, multi-cultural understanding, collaboration and cooperation. You will be experience in training and achieving visible development and improvement in the company and on site. You will have comprehensive knowledge of ‘systems’ but it is stressed that personality, personal integrity, competence and ability to influence others at all levels of construction are priorities to achieving all embracing safety and multi-cultural harmony.
