Production Support/Developer
This position requires skill in production support, as follows: Carries a pager and responds to production support requests, escalating unresolved issues as needed to proper personnel. Provides senior-level end-user support, which may include: providing systems administration assistance, coordinating stakeholder discussions, updating user documentation or conducting training.
The primary focus of this position is 2-tier production support of Securities Accounting applications.
Mortgage industry of experience preferred
Fannie Mae production support experience preferred
Experience with Remedy, ClearQuest, and Mercury Quality Center an asset
Experience supporting Sybase & Oracle (MANDATORY) databases
Can work in both UNIX and Windows environments
Autosys scheduling and job management
Strong follow-through, initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task and provide support to production users and multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with good customer focus.
Java, J2EE, and Crystal Reports experience an asset
