Position Summary
Research In Motion is currently seeking a Flash Developer to join the Multimedia team. The Flash Developer is part of the team responsible for working with the support organization`s business units to identify, organize, create and manage intellectual online assets.
Responsibilities
The successful applicants responsibilities will include:
• The development of interactive web and computer based training
• Assisting with the development of web applications
• Working closely with content writers to produce online courseware
• Compiling web based materials for translation and integration of localized files
• Assisting Graphic Designers with the creation of web pages and web programming
Essential Skills And Qualifications
• Post Secondary education in Web Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-5 years experience in a Flash development role
• Portfolio of work containing samples of web development
• Proficiency in Flash, Dreamweaver; Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with ActionScript 2, ActionScript 3, PHP, CSS, HTML, XML
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, or independently
• Detail oriented, ensuring accuracy of information, objectivity and advanced research capabilities
• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, challenging and multi-tasking environment
• Customer Service oriented
• Creative problem solver
• Exceptional organization skills
Additional Assets
• Knowledge of the Project Management Life Cycle
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and web server technology
• Experience creating web material which is Scorm/aicc compliant
• Experience with Java programming
• Experience with Air and Flex
