| Job Description: |
A lead position that is active in all phases of the solution life cycle for Microsoft technologies. This individual will assist in designing workable technology solutions and provide implementation and operational support.
Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and gathering requirements for technology solutions.
Design solutions and plan implementations with Project Manager.
Translate business needs into technology specifications.
Serve as technical authority for Microsoft related technologies.
Configure hardware and software in support of solution deployments.
Provide technical mentoring and development to other team members.
Troubleshooting problems in production environments.
Stay current with new technologies and innovations and recommend adoption of new technologies
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualified candidate must have a minimum 7 years experience focused in Microsoft technologies with direct experience implementing:
MS Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, and Exchange 2003
Enterprise backup strategies
Experience with solutions in a SAN environment.
Strong written and communication skills.
At least a Microsoft MCSE certification.
Demonstrated experience implementing solutions in distributed environments.
Ability to layer security in the solution beginning in the design phase.
Understanding of the solution life cycle from inception to operation.
Demonstrated ability to perform troubleshooting in complex environments.
Server management fundamentals and concepts.
Demonstrated ability to use MS Visio for diagrams.
Have a history of working unsupervised while achieving required goals
Must work well in a team environment, be highly motivated, and willing to learn new skills
Highly Desired Skills and Qualifications
Experience designing and implementing EMC storage and backup solutions
Bachelor`s Degree
