Job Description
Take a proactive approach to reducing shortage, investigate and resolve losses within assigned stores which may be high shortage, high-risk area/Flagship. Is Responsible for all investigations & LP operations. Creates, Coordinates and delivers training to store management..
Organization Relationship
This position is a Loss Prevention Agent within the field structure reporting into the Loss Prevention Manager. This position communicates primarily to the LP Manager with direction on overall loss prevention strategies and programs coming from the Director, Regional, District or LP Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the execution of shortage reduction program in assigned stores
2. Responsible for leading management meetings on LP topics weekly
3. Participate in storewide associate meetings focused on creating training, ownership and awareness
4. Create presentation and training material. Lead training seminars and presentation on Loss Prevention
5. Operations:
• Follow-up on store visits to compliance of company policy and procedures
• Work closely with management to communicate and train operational standards
• Complete operational audits on routine basis.
• Monitor cash office operations to include training and research daily exceptions
6. Investigations:
• Proactively monitor controls to identify employee theft
• Utilize all available resources to conduct surveillance’s and monitor store trends
• Conducts investigations; merchandise and cash loss, and breach of company policies and procedures
7. Complete special projects as assigned by the LPM/DLPM/Regional/Director
Job Qualifications
1. Minimal education level: College degree or equivalent preferred.
2. Minimum of 4 years of loss prevention investigations, auditing and training or equivalent preferred.
3. Must be able to travel between stores within assigned areas if required.
4. Required Knowledge, skills & abilities: professional knowledge of investigative methods and loss prevention training skills is required.
