| Job Description: |
This leading firm is seeking an experienced Accountant.
The Accountant is responsible for managing the General Ledger accounting and reporting system. S/he ensures that controls are in placed and the budget and expenditures are monitored; and meet other needs of the management.
Successful Candidate will hold:
• Bachelor degree in Business, and or Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
• Knowledge of standard accounts policies, procedures, regulations and documentation.
• Ability to Prepare financial statement (Balance sheet and Income Statement).
• Ability to utilize an automated accounting system.
• Ability to understand and interpret vendor invoices, statements, and other requests for payment.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Team player.
• Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
