| Job Description: |
Our client is an Italian company involved in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Nuclear and Marine industries. The company operates in various regions of the world providing engineering, construction and project management services.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring, by documentary evidence that all personnel involved with any lifting operations on the site, have been properly trained and assessed as competent to internationally recognized standards and that a copy of register is maintained on the site.
Maintain IA Register of Competent Lifting Personnel PA`s, Lifting Equipment Operators, and Riggers in their area of responsibility by updating CMAS as and when required.
Generating lifting plans in the standard format for critical lifts (in assistance of Competent Engineer, if deemed necessary).
Answer queries about the suitability of lifting equipment.
Advise in respect of the development and execution of lifting plans and TRA`s for critical lifts.
Training and Competency assessment of Equipment Operators, Riggers and Banksmen.
Inspect lifting equipment where requested to confirm continued fitness for use.
Witness complex critical lifts.
Ensure site wide compliance with the IA Ops Lifting Operations & Lifting Procedure requirements.
Reporting any potential issues and/or hazards immediately to AA.
Act as custodian of the IA Ops Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Procedure.
Stopping unsafe work.
Conditions:
28/28 rotation; 7 days per week; 12 hours/day work

Skills Required:: |
Minimum 10 years experience managing and directing lifting operations.
Certifications of lifting competence and training certificates.
Engineering degree preferred.
Fluent knowledge of English.
Preferred knowledge of French. |
