My client is a provider of risk-assumption solutions for the global insurance and capital markets. We provide insurance companies with multiple lines of reinsurance ‘property & casualty, catastrophe, specialty lines, life, and alternative risk transfer through their offices around the world.
For their office based in Zurich, they are looking for a:
Project/Operation Manager DMS
This position reports to the Manager of Document Management System
The Project Manager oversees multiple projects or one larger project under general supervision of the Program Manager. The Operation Manager makes sure that all recurring activities are planned and executed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for all aspects of a project over the entire lifecycle and a transparent communication throughout
* Coordinate project activities with external providers / partners for a timely delivery
* Ensure the smooth transition from project status to operation mode
* Develop and enhance support processes and tools relevant to the Document Management Program
* Develop and enhance the application testing procedures for service packs and releases
* Ensure SOX compliance in the areas of Change Management and User Administration |
Skills Required:: |
Requirements
* Strong business knowledge in reinsurance, reinsurance operations (Technical Accounting, Claims, Underwriting) and project management are required
* Knowledge of IT technology and concepts are key
* Knowledge of SICS/NT or other reinsurance applications and Document Management System are beneficial
* Strong people management and excellent communication skills
* Experience in working in a client support role helps
* Fluent in English, other languages are beneficial
