| Job Description: |
Prepare the out sub-area traffic & transportation planning & review to be performed to evaluate the potential impact on the transportation system of road networks, resulting from the various alternative strategies and the options contained within each strategy. The study shall include, but not be limited to the following:
O Survey of existing traffic and forecast of future flows (25 years beyond operation date)
O Identify existing and future traffic & transportation demand & planning & TMS(Transportation Management System).
O Analyze traffic operations at all intersections, junctions and road links and identify necessary improvements & up-grading.
O Analyze transit operations, public transport management (PTM), AITS & HOV etc
O Identify the impact on pedestrian and animal traffic
O Collecting and analyzing the road accident data (all police daily accidents reports for at least 5 years) and giving the best recommendation to reduce road accidents and casualties.

Skills Required:: |
The Senior Transportation Engineer (Master in Transportation/Civil Engineer) must include a minimum of 10 years, or Bsc in Civil Engineer with 15 years of professional experience in:
o Transportation management planning, design, construction & maintenance of roads, highways, bridges, tunnels etc.
o Traffic flow activities and impact
o Public Transportation Management AITS and HOV
o TSM & TDM Improvements (Geometric, Operational & Service Improvements)etc.
