Job Description:
• Take lead in organising hazard studies, ensuring appropriate terms are assembled, and associated actions are completed.
• As part of the regional management and support to maintain an overview of current and forecast projects.
• Conduct review of Asia region’s engineering resources and in conjunction with business and engineering function, develop and implement regional engineering team.
• Manage and influence front end of all regional projects.
• Liaison with corporate and statutory authorities to ensure necessary authorizations is obtained.
• Ensure model procedures are complied with for projects, and other works undertaken by Operations personnel.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with min. 6 yrs of experience in engineering environment preferably in chemicals, fertilizers, pharmaceutical or relevant industries.
• At least 5 years experience in Project Engineering with 3 years of staff supervision/ general administration
• Excellent communication and knowledge in project management.
• Ability to manage a broad portfolio of concurrent projects in distributed remote locations, with distributed remote resources.
• Good knowledge in dangerous good regulations, environmental protection requirements and quality assurance principles.
