Newly formed Encoding company is looking for an experienced encoder for day to day operations. Must be highly expeirenced in all aspect of the encoding process. (From start to finish) . Must have full knowledge of final cut pro , Episode pro and AJA software as well codecs .
We specialize in digitizing and quality control of video and audio for use as high resolution archives or internet deliverables. This includes HD master files, trailers, music videos, EPK`S and features for film distributors, record labels and film studios.
By streaming the process of encoding video, we relieve our clients of the time and financial burden of compressing media files in-house. For each source material such as tapes and digital files we create a storable electronic file containing video and/or
audio transcoded according to client`s technical specifications

Skills Required:: |
Major Job Responsibilities include:
- Quality control of all tapes for video-on-demand
- Encoding of all tapes for video-on-demand into MPG2 format
- Storing of files on hard drives and burning backup DVDs
- Ensuring all videos are encoded and delivered to clients in a timely manner according to the broadcast schedule
- Checking videos for both content in line with our ratings systems, and for technical quality
Position requirements:
- Minimum 2 years continuous experience as a QC/Video Encoding operator at a post-production company required
- Must know broadcast standards, waveform monitor/vector scope, NTSC, PAL, DIGI BETA, SP, DVCAM, MPEG2 Compression and tape vault library procedures
- Familiarity with Digital Rapids encoding hardware, CableLabelsVOD encoding and metadata specifications a plus
