Senior Solaris System Administrator
We are looking for a Senior Solaris System Administrator to be part of the infrastructure Development Team to support development, test and production environments.
Tasks Include; Monitoring, fault resolution, backups, recovery, O/S patching, internal and external DNS, analysing and implementing change requests.
You must have an in-depth understanding of key IT system components, experience of analysing new IT services and breaking them into their technical components and experience of mission critical services. You will have experience of working within strict business and procedural controls such as change control and configuration management processes.
Technical Requirements:
* Advanced skills and experience with Solaris 10.
* Veritas Storage Foundation and Sun Cluster.
* Network and server configuration skills.
* Wide Range of Sun Servers
* Unix Shell scripting
* Jumpstart
* Apache
* Tomcat
Salary is £35,000 to £60,000 per year plus full relcation package.
