£8-10 per hour net.
5 hours per day (afternoon/ evening, monday – friday)
Non smoker/ driver essential.
This is a professional Family, where Dad, (42yrs) works in finance, and Mum, (38 yrs) is an Eye Surgeon.
The Family live in a beautiful home, which is situated in the pretty suburb of Hadley Wood. (Near to Cockfosters).
They have 2 children, a boy (7yrs) and a girl (3 yrs), and a Baby is due in March next year.
Mum will be at Home with the Baby for the first 6-7 months, and after that he/ she will go to Nursery, so you will not take care of the Baby until Mum comes home from Work with him.
The Family has a keen interest in sports (Cricket, Football, Basketball, and Tennis), and the children both enjoy swimming, while the little boy has Music lessons, and the little girl goes to ballet.
You will collect the children from school in the afternoon, supervise Homework, give snacks as appropriate, and generally keep them occupied. You will also help with tidying up after the children, and taking care of the Children’s laundry.
You will not be expected to do general cleaning and ironing– there is a Cleaner employed for this.
Then, usually between 6-7pm, one or both parents will return from work.
After this you are needed to help with general childcare until the children are in bed by 8pm.
A little flexibility may be needed owing to the parents’ work schedule.
A Nanny car (automatic) will be provided for work purposes.
Mum and Dad say “We are warm and loving, but time pressurised. We realise that this is a two way relationship, and we are very aware of the needs of our Employee. Both of us are very busy, and Dad travels extensively for work.”
Mum and Dad would like a Nanny who has a genuine love of children, and who loves to look after and care for them. You should be trustworthy, responsible, fun, and kind.
