Job Purpose
The focus of this role is to provide hands-on dynamic reservoir modelling support to the Reservoir Management team
Roles & Responsibilities
•Responsibility for preparing and maintaining up to date reservoir fluid dynamic models, incorporating all static, Pressure Volume Temperature (PVT) analyses, Equation of State Thermodynamic calculations and other dynamic data parameters. Use these to make informed decisions regarding reservoir exploitation activities (waterflood, drilling , stimulation , perforation).
•Responsibility for estimating hydrocarbon reserves and fluid volume forecasts, incorporating history-matching, decline curve analysis, material balance, nodal analysis, pseudo-matbal (combining nodal analysis with material balance), well test analysis, production accounting (allocation hydrocarbon accounting), well modelling, network modelling, pressure transient analysis, well inflow performance analysis, and relative permeability data.
•Responsibility for providing studies of the dynamic character of the reservoir, integrating well histories & performance with the flow architecture.
•Responsibility for monitoring fluid production with the objective of identifying value adding opportunities and providing reliable production forecasts;
•Consulted for reservoir and well surveillance planning, and execution support.

Skills Required:: |
Knowledge Skills and Experience and Job Related Competencies
Educational Qualifications & Experience Profile:
•BSc or BE, with 5-15 years postgraduate experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream oil industry.
•Experience in field development planning
•Working knowledge of reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse or similar (black oil and compositional modeling).
•High level reservoir engineering, simulation & analytical modelling skills
