HCL International are currently looking for Palliative Care Nurses for a Large NHS Hospital based in London
The successful applicant will provide palliative care and advice to patients and their families. You must have a strong and empathetic nature in order to be able to provide psychological and emotional support.
Responsibilities
Providing first rate care to patients and their families
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
Providing specialist symptom control advice
Pain management
Supporting other members of the team to make sure that the best care possible is given to the patients
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
Working with a multi disciplinary team to provide respite and palliative care to patients with life limiting conditions,
Monitoring and maintaining standards of nursing care and professional development.
Requirements
You will have full NMC registration or be eligible to gain full NMC registration
At least 1 years work experience
Oncology / Chemotherapy Nursing experience desirable
Relevant post registration qualification desirable
1-2 years post registration experience within a cancer palliative care capacity essential
