Hcl International is urgently seeking experienced and motivated Staff Nurses to work in a specialist Stroke Rehab Hospital
A well respected and established Stroke Rehab unit is looking for a Stroke Rehabilitation Nurse to join their team. This post has arisen due to unit expansion
The applicant will be required to provide a high quality, specialist nursing care whilst taking into consideration the physical/social and cultural needs of the patients from admission to discharge
Requirements
• Registered General Nurse Level 1
• NMC Registration or eligibility to gain registration
• Further education in the Stroke field desirable but not essential
• At least 3 years post registration experience
• At least 12 months post registration experience in Neuro/Stoke Rehabilitation
• Excellent verbal and non verbal communication
• Multi cultural awareness essential
Duties & Responsibilties
• Provide first rate patient care at all times
• Educate patients and their relatives/carers
• Participate in education and training within the organisation
• Case managing within a multi disciplinary team
• Attend and address multi disciplinary team meetings
• Liaising with external parties on behalf of patients (solicitors etc)
• To provide leadership by acting as a positive role model who practices evidence based care, to ensure high standards of clinical care.
