| Job Description: |
The Sales Representative markets the company`s extensive product line to a broad range of potential customers and manage all sales activity with their respective territories. The Sales Representative acts as relationship manager and takes a consultative approach to selling by proposing product ideas that assist the customers with saving time and increasing their profitability. Primary customer base consists of bakeries, restaurants, and other food service accounts.
Responsibilities:
· Present product mix to bakery and restaurant accounts
· Develops new customer accounts through cold calling and following up on Company supplied leads.
· Develops and penetrates each of their customer accounts by selling the full mix of product categories through presentations or demonstrations of new products and concepts.
· Identifies and resolves problems experienced by the customer in the use of products in a timely manner.
· Communicates product pricing and shares information on commodity markets and general industry conditions.
· Follows through on customer requests for product information and samples.
· Monitors and resolves all credit issues for all accounts within territory.
· Participates in Company training programs and sales meetings covering all product knowledge and sales strategies.
· Develops a strong working relationship with vendor representatives in order to enhance sales growth within territory.
· Transmits customer orders via computer or phone.
· Presents a professional image at all times to customers and vendors.
· Understands office goals as set by management and assists in meeting and achieving those goals.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma required
Bachelors Degree a huge plus
3+ years working in sales in the food service industry
Compensation
Base salary: $50,000+Commission
Realistic earnings for first year: $75,000

Territory includes:
NY: Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Westchester, and Rockland
NJ: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Union
