| Job Description: |
- Through regular service calls in a specific territory, maintain and increase sales in hospitality establishments (new and current clients) and/or LCBO stores.
- Gain product placement on suitable restaurant wine lists.
- Support promotional / educational activities in LCBO stores.
- Organize and present promotional / educational events for the hospitality trade and consumers.
- Participate in sales meetings and training program.
- Report on sales results achieved compared with forecasted sales, on a timely basis.
- Communicate to senior management any issues and opportunities.
- Work independently, and with client representatives and demonstrators.
- Carry merchandising materials and cell phone during working hours.
- Some evening and weekend work is involved. |
Skills Required:: |
- Keen interest in wine, spirits, beer, food, and sales / marketing.
- Solid knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Strong work ethic.
- Strong sales sense and ability to close sales.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
- Ability to establish priorities.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
- Valid driver`s license and a vehicle.
- Computer skills (experience with email, internet, spreadsheets and word processing). |
