Key Account Manager Life Science
Mission:
Focus on account management of customers in the pharmaceuticals industry – Responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies to support business objectives, manage large customer accounts with certain complexity and impact, develop and expand high level customer relationships
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute business plan and sales strategies for major customers
• utilizing and leveraging sales data and information;
• preparing proposals that address customers’ needs and address financial considerations;
• defining, reviewing and monitoring key performance and corporate financial indicators;
2. customers
• utilizing multiple sources of competitive data and preparing information for ops organization;
• meeting with high level decision makers to deliver proposals and negotiate the terms of the sale.
3. Manage customer account
• developing an awareness of customer’s organization and identifying key decision-makers;
• implementing and managing overall account strategy; conducting periodic account business reviews;
• developing internal and external communication and account coordination;
• conducting ongoing negotiations, as necessary, to ensure company goals and profitability is achieved.
4. Develop customer relationships
• communicating to ensure key decision makers identify and understand their needs;
• assessing customer’s budgetary constrains;
• positioning society products and services to address their needs and add value to their business;
• driving development and implementation of society Onsite Services as well a pool management for resources within the concerned industry;
• defining Statement of Works and procedures for co-working on- and off-site;
• understanding and aligning with customer’s perspectives to build preferences for society’s products and services.
5. Expand the business
• identifying new opportunities with major target customers;
• meeting with key decision makers regularly to identify additional business opportunities or changing needs;
• making presentations to customer organizations to introduce society products and services;
• asking customers for referrals and/or references as appropriate.
6. Communicate and inform adequate across our organization
• establishing and maintaining a consistent communication between internal and external key contacts;
• transmitting essential information to all relevant sources.
7. Train your-self
• developing sales skills;
8. Assume project and special tasks
• Wherever needed and possible, get involved in special projects to support business and customer development

Skills Required:: |
1. Education Technical Expertise
• Diploma in superior education (high school), Bachelor degree in business administration or Diploma in Marketing
2. Business Expertise
• At least 3 years in a KAM function in staffing industry,
3. Languages
• German or French and English
