Farrowing Technician experienced is all aspects of farrowning with the care and support of sow and pigglet. Managing birthing of all sows monthly and the prenatal care of the piglets. Medical support of the sow including but not limted to, injections of antibiotics and vaccinations. Transfer sows from the gestation area to the farrowing pens. Weaning piglets at the appropriate time and relocating them to designated pens in the nursery. |
