| Job Description: |
My clients are a major international consultancy. They are currently looking for Mechanical Inspectors to work on one fo their most prestigeous high rise projects in Abu Dhabi.
Provide assistance to the Project Engineer/Site Engineer
Responsible for supervising, directing and coordinating the inspection team.
Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain records.
Ensuring that responses are complete and in compliance with the contract documents. Where problems are found, work with Project Engineer to resolve.
Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.
Assist to identify, respond to or evaluate technical issues to maintain the schedule.
Experience in the design, installation of HVAC systems.
Conversant with HVAC and electrical systems.
Working knowledge on basic cooling and heating load calculations, plans and details. Sizing and layout of ductwork systems and piping, central boiler and chiller design, review of shop drawings and responding to field requested changes.
Experience on projects over 30 stories is essential.
