    • Participate in the management meeting and provide ad-hoc reports to the management.
    • Preparation of staff salaries, tax compliance matters (VAT, PAYE, WHT, Income tax) and maintenance of the general ledger and fixed assets register
    • Profitability analysis-truck/ product wise (EU) and monitoring the trucks through vehicle tracking system

    As a Financial Analyst my duties were:
    • Assessed the potential capital investment projects of the clients using DCF technique and advised and fund raised for them

    • Reviewed and analyzed accounting and internal control systems of the Seylan Merchant Bank Group and suggested constructive ways to upgrade their accounting/internal control systems.

    • Prepared the prospectus, placement documents, information memorandum and presentation for clients/prospective clients
    • Involved in the tax planning for the Seylan Merchant Bank and the group.

    • Saved the unnecessary tax payments for the Seylan Merchant Bank and the group
    • Restructured the Seylan Merchant Bank to write off all carried forward losses against profit
