It is a subsidiary company of Itochu Corporation This company founded on 1858 in Japan. It has 165 overseas and 18 domestics (Japan) office world wide. The total number of employees 4,168, sales turnover US$90,046 million and paid-in capital US$1,914 million. Later Prominent Apparel Limited established on 1983 at Hong Kong, the total employee 240, sales turnover US$260 million and paid-in capital US$800,000. Dhaka office started its business as the part of business expansion in the world.

Responsibilities:
• Update system for new vendor to generate factory and Vendor
• Explain company’s business policy and code of conduct to the new vendor
• Provide shipping and documentation guide line to the new vendor
• Arrange issue import LC to the vendor by local bank to supplier’s bank
• Arrange issue export LC to the local garments fty
• Shipment schedule follow-up with our merchandiser as well as factory
• Documentation meeting with new vendor.
• Discuss with buyer for vessel approval
• Discuss with factory and forwarder for goods hand-over
• Follow-up with forwarder for stuffing, feeder ETD, mother connection and ETA
• Providing stuffing details to buyer
• Shipping documents check and confirm
• Follow-up vessel sailing, mother vessel connection and ETA to the destination
• Follow-up air shipment with forwarder and also with the delivery agent
• Follow-up payment release to the vendor and advise deduction of penalty from
LC payment.
• Up-date business environment of the country to the sourcing head quarter,
Operation director at UK, USA, fabrics team, shipping department,
Merchandising department, etc.,
2. From May 2002 to December 2004 with Medlar Group as Deputy Manager (Commercial) –May, 2002 to December, 2003 & Manager (Commercial)-January, 2004 to December, 2004.
Medlar Group (100% export oriented making ready-made garments Industry). This was a follower of Opex Group, at present, Medlar Group and Opex Group are starting joint venture as name SINHA Group. SINHA Group is a leading garments industry in Bangladesh. It has 18 garments, 1-textile, 1-label, 1-threat, 1-carton, 1-dying, 1-polybeg unit. They has a buying office at Honk Kong (Joyful) for accessories and leiason office for garments marketing. Same as They has another office at USA (Opex) as leiason office for direct market in USA and communication with customer. They are handling famous buyer for EU, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Turkey, etc.

Full cycle of Import (From L/C open to Goods in-house), related custom & BGMEA all follow-up
3. From August 2000 to End of the April, 2002 with Standard Group as Commercial Executive (L/C section)
Standard Group (100% export oriented making ready-made garments industries and construction farm), it is a renowned multinational apparel manufacture and construction farm. They are also largest garments industry in Bangladesh. It has woven, knit both factories. They has a buying office at Honk Kong (Standard Sourcing) for accessories and leiason office for garments marketing. At present, they has total more than 36 garments & accessories unit. They are handling The GAP Inc., Wrongler, Lee Company, C S I, Sears, Colby, Wal-Mart, etc for EU, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, Turkey, etc. They are an multinational construction farm. They has other business like apartment construction & sales, poultry farm, fisheries hatchery and fish culture farm , etc.
Responsibilities:
Master L/C (Letter of Credit) scouting to Import issue LC, issue Inspection Certificate,
Export / Import bill clearance, Discrepancy finding in the received import doc’s.
And issue Corresponding L/C, etc
