    Clerical Assistant, County Hall, Taunton, U.K. SEPT 1987–Jan 1989

    Main Duties: I worked in the staffing section of Social Services, I undertook general office duties which included filing, telephone enquiries, external/internal mail, advertising in local newspapers for vacancies in local care homes, mortgage references for employees. I attended college on day release .

    Between 1990 and 1998 I gave up work to have my children, during this time I was Chairperson of the playgroup committee.

    Bar Manager, Riverside Leisure CENTRE, EXETER, U.K. JUNE 1998–June 1999

    Main Duties: I started in the crèche, and then ran the leisure centre coffee shop. I was then promoted to Bar Manager, I was responsible for stock control, pipe cleaning, organizing large functions in the gymnasium, customer service, cash handling.




    Price Controller/cash Office Clerk, Sainsbury’s, EXETER, U.K. JULY 1999-August 2000

    Main Duties: As a Price Controller I was responsible for ensuring that the stores advertising was all on display and current. Actioning all price changes every morning before opening to ensure the store was running legally, dealing with customer queries. In the cash office we collected all monies (takings, cash, cheques, vouchers), counted and balanced the office at the end of the day, then banked. This position required a great deal of trust and accuracy.

    Main duties: serving customers in the poolside restaurant, working the bar or waiting tables, cash handling, re-stocking.

    Main duties: cold line calling UK residents inviting for a 5 star holiday during which they would attend a holiday presentation.

    Receptionist, Matford Land ROVER, EXETER, UK. MARCH -August 2002

    Main Duties: I was the front face of the company dealing with all walk in customers and using the tanoy to transfer all telephone enquiries to the appropriate member of staff plus general administration duties.

    Administrator, Craegmoor Healthcare, EXETER, UK. Feb-sept 2003

    Main Duties: I was the administrator for 9 residents with learning disabilities. I was responsible for ensuring the home met all care standards for inspections and audits, doing the monthly payroll and keeping all residents and staff personal files up to date, issuing residents monies and keeping a record of the petty cash, dealing with correspondence, i.E fax, email, post filing, telephone calls and taking minutes of staff meetings.

    Call Centre Agent, Civil SEVICE, EXETER, UK. JAN 2004-June 2006

    Main Duties: Based in a large call centre this position involved receiving calls from Jobseekers requesting application details and employers looking to place job vacancy advertisements. I placed all vacancies on the national database to be viewed in all U.K job centres.



    Telemarketing assistant/manager, kouroushis lion resorts, capital coast resort & spa, pafos cyprus. April 2007-may 2009

    Main duties: as a Telemarketing Assistant I was calling U.K residents to offer accommodation at a choice of hotels, this involved cold and warm calling. After 6 months I was promoted to the Manager. I ran a team of up to 16 Telemarketers. I was responsible for recruitment, training, writing scripts, weekly/monthly/annual reports on budgets and statistics, customer requests and complaints. I used on a daily basis Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Fidelio the hotel database.

    Sales representative, capital coast resort & spa, may – september 2009

    I showed couples around the resort and spent approximately 3 hours with them offering them Holiday Club membership. Due to the company stopping basic pay, reducing commission rates I resigned.
