General responsibilities:
1. Offer a price for groups requested by travel agencies or EgyptAir offices all over the world.
2. Be sure that if another agent requested the same date and number of passenger, to offer the same price
3. The price is given after checking aircraft situation regarding capacity, classes and high or low season.
4. If there is no seats available on the flight that the agent requested, we suggest a better price to the agent on the nearest available flight.
5. After the travel agent acceptance of price, calling the reservation control department to confirm seats.
6. Sending telex to sales promotion department to give the agent a tour code to be able to issue tickets
7. File and Serial the groups and make sure that if there is any cancellation which must be reported to the accounting department to be invoice a debit on the agent
Domestic Department (Revenue And Pricing Department) from November 1999 to January 2002 and from November 2004 to May 2007:
General responsibilities
: I specialized in handling group reservation control services, such as
Checking the reservations for passengers group before aircraft departure by 60, 21, 14 and 5 days for inserting names and tickets. Revising all domestic flights in 72 and 24 hours in which
1. Canceling any reservation without ticket number or names
2. Canceling booking with an expired time limit.
3. Canceling passenger`s domestic segment reservation in case the arrival of the international segment was cancelled.
4. Informing passenger by phone whenever their reservation gets confirmed.
5. Changing type of the aircraft in case of an increase or a decrease in the number of passengers
6. Sending a telex for passenger`s services like meet and assist for VIPs, wedding cakes for honeymooners, and wheel chair for handicaps
