Dear Sir/Madam,
Having recently reading job vacancy in the internet, I am writing to apply for the position of Personal Assistant at Bevecorp Distribution-Australia. I’m applying for this position due to my professional experience and skills in organization, administration, and communication that make me uniquely qualified for this position.
I have been working for two and a half years as an assistant to researchers affiliated with the Max Planks Institute (German) and University of Delaware (United State of America) for Jambi Field Station. As a Research Assistant, I have been working with administrative issues such as; correspondence, financial tasks and personal task. My duties as a research assistant required superior administrative and organizational skill, efficiency diligence and flexibility to tackle multi tasks in time to meet strict deadlines.
My career in administration started in 2006, when I was working as a volunteer in World Vision Queensland Office Australia, during this time I was not only working on fundraising but I was also oriented various programs of the organization and day to day working and performing general administrative tasks in the office. Working in International NGO allowed me to learn more about bilateral relationship, as well as gave me a great opportunity to improve my skill in English both written and spoken.
In addition to my duties as a research assistant, I have also worked part-time as host in Local TV, where I presented news stories on a daily basis and televised talk show. With this experience I had the opportunity to improve my communication skills; public speaking and presenting.
In summary, my work experiences have provided me a set of administrative and organizational skills that qualify me for the position. I would like to emphasize that I am an effective and hard worker who is able to consistently meet tight deadlines without direct supervision. I am a fast learner, flexible with good sense of humor and pleasant personality, effectively organize and work constructively alongside a team of coworkers. I hope that you will provide me with the opportunity to prove my dedication to working hard and helping others as an employee in your organization.
As requested, I have enclosed CV with complete contact details of professional reference. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Karmila, S.Pd
