Designation: Head of Inventory & Logistics
Nature of Work: Overall management and strategic direction for the inventory, warehouse, contracts and logistics. Project Owner for setting-up centralized warehouse, Coding & Cataloguing in MAXIMO 5.2v, Set-up of vendor, supplier & manufacturer data bank, introduced and implemented Price Agreement for the operations spares, develop tenders related to materials procurement & their contract management, RFQ techno-commercial evaluations (TE), VO-variation order. Prepared department business plan, manpower plan, staff interview/recruitments.
• Managed overall department Contracts and Projects i.E. Supply of Plant Chemicals, Supply of Fuel, Oil & Lubricants, Leasing of HV & LV, Call-Off Contracts, (AMC) Service & Maintenance Contract, Maintenance of DG sets, Purchase of Specialised Heavy Equipments, Motor Rewinding, Reconciliation & Re-arrangement of Warehouse, Develop Procedure, Policy & WI, PA-Price Agreements for Spares, Gas, Safety Shoes, PPE etc.
• Carry out joint exercise with HAYA/MM for inventory / asset takeover. Optimize use of heavy & light vehicles within plant and implemented the logistics system for HAYA,. Maintaining stock inventory levels, sources required to carry out equipment repair and maintenance. Placement of orders for the provision of spare parts and components as per OEM. Organize techno-commercial evaluations for ordering stock items. Coordinate issues related to equipment maintenance and provision of the engineering data required for operation with suppliers & manufacturers. Generating MIS reports, required MATRIX from computerized maintenance management system.

Royal Dutch Syria Shell International Petroleum Development B.V (SSDP) Oil and Gas exploration business, which is a joint venture with Al–Furat Petroleum Company (AFPC) as a “Materials Engineer” under employment of Gray Mackenzie Oilfield Services Ltd. (GMOS), PO Box # 12589, Damascus – Syria.
Designation: Material Engineer (Head of Logistics)
Nature of Work: Inspection and verification of mechanical spares, turnkey & flow piping, structural, electrical, & instrumentation materials including drilling items as per Shell / Al-Furat specification. Simultaneously involved in material evaluation, sustain to MESC coding, stock control, procurement, planning, scheduling issues and supervise the inspection service to comply AFPC and international specifications. Ensure and endorse the result of inspection in accordance with material control plan. Inspect and generate reports of all inspection activities carried out in the acceptance criteria also exalted major preservation executed including OCTG items.
Familiar with Shell International MESC coding system (material equipment standardisation code), also co-ordinating with stock analyst and maintaining mothballing and refurbishing program for heavy mechanical spare, as well as technical assistance to stock checkers and end user’s. Attending queries from numerous oil fields asking for “FMIV” materials. Administration approval, resolving MESC & part # emanating from PMC, technical / location problems. Additional activity pertaining to setting and maintaining new warehouse under shell MESC coding system. AFPC has a Centralised Warehouse, storing around 80,000 line items of Drilling, Production Spares and Consumable the stock value US dollar ($): 140 million, Supporting Oil 300,000 bbI/d, Gas 200 MMscf/d & Water Injection 650,000 bbI/d field production target.
06th June 1998 to 20th May 1999 Royal Dutch Shell-Oman Liquefied Natural Gas Project (S-OLNG). Oman’s First LNG plant comprising of 2 Liquefaction Units (Train 1 & 2), under employment of Chiyoda - Foster Wheeler & Company LLC. Nature of Work: Inspection and verification of mechanical, structural, electrical & instrumentation material as per Shell/Oman LNG specification. Simultaneously involved in material evaluation, MESC coding, stock control, planning, scheduling issues & supervise the inspection service to fulfil OLNG and international specifications. Ensure and endorse the result of inspection in accordance with material control plan. Using SMILE inventory computer programme, Project-6.6 Million Tons Per Annum (MTPA) liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant.
