The covering letter of a copywriter should be an easy task for her, because come on! is a copywriter, her job is about writing, it should be simple. So here goes.
I am copywriter, I have been working for five years for different agencies in Colombia, starting in Aguayo. I was first taken on by a local creative agency that introduced me to international festivals and encouraged me to compete. I then spent almost 2 years at BBDO, in a fantastic team, creating campaigns for international clients such as Pepsi, Bayer, and Bavaria. From there I joined JWT where I learnt strategic ways to make good advertising; there I worked with brands like Nestle, Trident and Samsung, among others. I understand both small and big clients, working with enthusiasm irrespective of budget. It is thanks to them that I picked up several awards from various advertising festivals.
Creativity needs to be nurtured. That’s one of the reasons I came to London to broaden my experiences, my knowledge and to improve my English.
I am looking for an environment where needs wit, working within a strategic team and making a positive contribution to the creative process. I am both enthusiastic and practical. I like applying myself to creative and effective solutions and explore every perspective, no matter how silly an idea it may at first seem. Ultimately I want a place where I can grow; I have a good eye for translating and editing and offer an interesting international dimension.
By the way, this letter doesn’t need to be that big, so why don’t have a look to my portfolio or some short stories I have written.
