Flagstaff Airpark Holdings, L.L.C.
CEO / Owner / Managing Member
August 2006 to April 2008
I owned this company and the main function was Project Management. I managed several projects for clients with developments in California, Arizona and Mexico. Set project budgets, negotiated contracts and coordinated construction activities on several different residential, commercial and airport projects. Inspected all phases of construction as per plan and construction is in compliance with IBC, OSHA and respective government entity’s policies. Master planned and created budgets for large project developments costing $300 million dollars at full development. Investigated and research land for acquisition for possible development for my client. Coordinated and interfaced heavily between clients, consultants, contractors and government officials. As of November 2007, this company has not being doing any work for clients.
Black Mountain Engineering, L.L.C.
CEO / Owner / Managing Member
June 1998 to August 2006
Went into civil engineering business for myself in June 1998 until August of 2006. My company coordinated, master planned, re-zoned, engineered and managed several residential, commercial, industrial and airport development projects in Arizona, California, Idaho and Mexico. This included presentations at neighborhood meetings and zoning hearings. I set budgets and construction cost estimates for each project for conceptual and full development on every project. Made field inspections to check progression of construction and resolved any issues at hand. Made sure construction was in compliance with IBC, OSHA and government policies. Orchestrated bid from contractors for each development for my clients. Advertised for RFIs and RFQs from contractors for some developments I managed. Coordinated and interfaced heavily between clients, consultants, contractors and government officials for all projects. I managed a staff of six to ten personnel to run my company in different areas. In August of 2006, I had to close down Black Mountain Engineering, L.L.C. because of economic recession in the construction industry. All clients stopped paying and was forced to close the business. Black Mountain Engineering was awarded the Congressional Medal of Distinction for business by NRCC.
