I am a hardworking, committed graduate with over 4 years experience of the IT industry, predominately in the banking and finance sector. I am currently a Configuration Manager for Barclays Bank Plc, a role I have held for two and a half years. During my time at Barclays I have travelled to South Africa and Egypt to set up and oversee Configuration Management processes and the CMDB for the Bank. I have also been involved in software and hardware asset management. I have produced gap analysis reports on foreign banks Barclays were looking to acquire. My involvement in such international projects has added a different dimension to my abilities and highlights the flexibility in my approach to working commitments. I am a reliable, competent and well motivated individual able to communicate at all levels in both technical and business terms. I am comfortable working on my own, however I am also a highly effective team member. I have the ability to take the lead, motivate and am responsible for decision making. I read for a degree in Information Systems Analysis, I gained a 2:1 in this subject.
