    Functions

    •oversee the sale of new vehicles locally assembled & fully imported to Egypt Zone.
    •Champion Customer Satisfaction Sales Standards and attain dealership objectives for all brands
    •Contribute to dealership profitability.


    Responsibilities And Authority

    A)customer Satisfaction

    •Communicate Customer Satisfaction Sales Standards to all sales personnel.
    •Implement sales processes that support Customer Satisfaction Sales Standards.
    •Monitor results of the Customer Satisfaction Sales Survey and implement process strategies to continually improve customer satisfaction ratings.
    •Establish and maintain a Consumer Relations policy that ensures complete customer satisfaction.
    •Also provide a customer record and follow-up system, resolve customer complaints and
    Build loyal clientele for the dealership.

    B)Sales

    •Ensure profitability of the Vehicle Sales Department through the sale of vehicles, Financing, dealer options and accessories.
    •Implement effective advertising and merchandising programs to increase showrooms traffic and sales.
    •Establish, manage and control a sales system that recognizes and enforces concepts leading to repeat buyers and referrals.
    •Establish, maintain and supervise a sales system that includes effective prospecting, demonstration, customer handling, closing and delivery programs.
    •Supervise selection and assignment of demonstrators and establish a demonstration procedure/route.
    •Recommend revisions in sales consultants’ compensation and incentives as needed.
    •Prepare and/or conduct sales meetings.
    •Maintain knowledge and awareness of manufacturer's programs and communicate to appropriate personnel.
    •Evaluate operating performance as reflected by the Daily Operating Control and other business controls and take action as required.
    •Review/assist in reviewing new vehicle buyer’s order and in qualifying it for acceptance.
    •Review documents related to sale of new vehicles to assure they are complete, meet all legal requirements and are properly executed.
    • Keep current on new car markets trends, competitive activities and pricing.

    C)Interdepartmental Relations

    •Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
    •Prepare for and participate in meetings with management and other department personnel.
    •Work with the Service Manager (or other appropriate personnel) in establishing new vehicle prep standards.

    D)Expense Control

    •Manage departmental expenses effectively.
    •Control advertising, dealer trades, training expenses, gasoline mileage and internal

    E)Housekeeping/Safety

    •Initiate housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and attractive work environment.
    •Establish and implement a system to ensure that new vehicles are displayed attractively at all times.
    •Review documents related to sale of new vehicles to assure they are complete, meet all legal requirements, and are properly executed.
    •Supervise the preparation and maintenance of departmental records (i.E., projections, schedules, daily productivity log).

    F)Personnel

    •Utilize personnel management system that incorporates dealership policies on recruiting, hiring, orientation, staffing levels and pay plans (including incentives and fringe benefits).
    •Establish and maintain practices designed to train, develop and motivate department employees.
    •Utilize job descriptions, including performance criteria to communicate expectations, monitor and measure individual employee effectiveness.
    •Provide constructive feedback to employees on an ongoing basis as needed and during the formal appraisal process.

    G)KPIs:

    Establish a business plan with performance criteria in the following suggested subject areas customer satisfaction:
    •% of customers Completely Satisfied with their overall vehicle purchase experience as measured by the Customer Satisfaction Sales Survey.
