Educational aspects
a)PH D Studies- currently enrolled in a PhD in philosophy at the Faculty of European Studies, the GermanStudies department.

2000-2002 - Master Program within the Faculty of European Studies at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, the philological department.
July 2002 - Completion of studies and sustaining of the dissertation paper.
c) University studies
1996-2000- Bachelor in Education Studies at Babes- Bolyai University, Faculty of Letters, the English- German department. The study focused on the main literary streams of British and American literature. The compulsory curriculum comprised all aspects of literary products from different epochs and writers, the exams tested knowledge of modern and postmodern as well as old English literature and classicism. On the other hand stress was laid on linguistics. The studies rendered methods of teaching grammar to pupils and adults, the interweaving of theory with practice being a main teaching approach. Moreover importance was shown to teaching methods and practice throughout main English high-schools of the area.
June 2000- university graduation and obtaining of University Degree Diploma as accredited teacher of English language and literature.
Work Experience.
2007/2009- employed as a KG Active teacher by the English Playgroup in Kuwait. Main duties represented the delivery of the English curriculum to children who wanted to learn English in Kuwait. The needs of the children at this particular age required a lot of attention and activities which lead to learning by means of playing.
2006/2007- employed as a KG Active teacher by the English Playgroup in Kuwait. Responsibilities involved the same age group in the same layout.
Since 2005- employed by Ion Codru Dragusanu High school in Victoria, county of Brasov as a teacher of the English language and literature, classes IX-XII with permanent contract. Main duties represented teaching high-school students the English curriculum consisting of main English literary works, grammar and culture and civilization as asked by the ministry. The lesson plans follow specific tasks set at national level.
Additional work experience
2003/2004- employed as a teacher of English at Avram Iancu High-school in Cluj-Napoca. The students of this particular school focused mainly on IT aspects and the teaching had to be adjusted to their needs.
2002/2003-employed by a private school named Lernaktiv in Coesfeld, Germany tutoring little pupils in the afternoon in order to improve their school results in the English language mainly.
2000/2001- employed as a teacher of English at Avram Iancu High-school in Cluj-Napoca. The set of responsibilities involved the same age groups and the same focus on IT language in English.
1995/1996 -employed as a teacher of English at D-na Stanca High-school in Fagaras . The focus was laid on teaching the English language to beginners who rank between 12-14 years old.
Personal Achievements
2004-2005 enrolled with a scholarship in an Arabic language course in Jordan at the Al- al Bayt University in Mafraq. I successfully passed the Arabic I level test.
December 2001-participation to a teachers’ seminary focusing on the following topic -the EU, perspectives of enlargement, organized by Landeszentrale fuer politische Bildung, held in Bonn and Brussels.
July 2000- practice performed at the call of the Faculty of European Studies inside the Department of External Parliamentary Relations of the Romanian Senate.
January 1999-obtaining of Certificate in Community Law, following the participation in a course organized by the Central European University
Additional Skills
Computer and IT knowledge, working easily with Word, Excel, web pages creation in Front-Page Editor, use of PowerPoint and the use of the Internet. Language skills: English (fluent), German (fluent), French (conversation), Arabic (elementary).
April 2002- I obtained the driving license.
