In general terms, my present job entails ensuring Botswana’s compliance with her bilateral, regional and multilateral trade agreements and protocols, inclusion of recommendations promoting Botswana’s interests in trade agreements and protocols, resolution of disputes arising out of implementation of protocols and agreements, and promotion of trade amongst others. In short, I deal extensively with issues of international Customs/Trade liaison, international trade, regional integration and related matters. I also represent Botswana in regional and international meetings on the above mentioned issues.
I have recently been appointed the national project manager for the SACU-WCO Customs Modernisation Project.
