I was in the South African Military for 15 Years and progressed through the ranks to be appointed the Officers rank of Major, successfully completing a number of military and civilian courses with merit and the most significant being, Loss Control, Invest in Excellence (Life Enrichment), Officers Formative, Law of Armed Conflict, Advanced Military Law, Infantry and All Arms promotional courses to the level of Lieutenant Colonel/Bn Commander by successfully completing the Junior Command and Staff course at the South African Army College including an additional 2 month practical qualification at the SA Army Battle School.
