Electrical Engineer at Capita Symonds (April 2006 to present)
I have been working with Capita Symonds Mauritius for nearly 3 years now and I was involved mainly in the electrical design, tendering and construction process of the ANAHITA IRS at Beau Champ. The IRS include the Four Seasons Hotel Resort including luxury villas, LAdamante Residences (70 Apartments), the Belgath Village, the Anahita Golf Clubhouse, the Technical Services Yard, the Lunea (28 luxury Villas) and the Solaia (11 estate villas still in construction).
I have been the lead and resident engineer on Anahita since the last year.
Other projects I worked on include:
Waterside apartments at Grand Bay
The Bay ( apartments) at Grand Bay
UK based BSF schools projects, based on BS standards and established building bulletins and to UK standards.
My main job responsibilities at Capita Symonds were:
HV and LV infrastructure design.
Small power and lighting design (internal and external).
Fire Alarm design
Preparing Bills of Quantities and doing Tender Analysis
Solving site issues and attending meetings during construction period.
Trainee Engineer at Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation (Oct 2004 to April 2006)
Since October 2004, I have been working as a Trainee Engineer at the MBC. My job consisted mainly of the following:
